1. messypalette: This is my version of Cid, the washed up astronaut from Final Fantasy 7. Whenever I just feel like painting for fun, or if I don’t have any ideas, I take somethings that already been done and try and make it better. Sometimes I paint it as it is, just for practice. It’s not plagarism. I don’t say that the whole thing is my own creation. It’s like bands doing cover songs. They take someone else’s song and put their own twist on it. I’ll probably paint more characters from the game. Well I already have another character but it’s not quite done yet. A lot of times I think I’m done a painting. Then I go on cghub.com and look at all the professional paintings and realize how far away I am from their level. This is the good thing about these blogs, though. If I keep working at this, I’ll eventually get better and the way I’ll know that I’m improving, is by looking at these early posts. I’ll be able to look back at old posts and see how much, or how little, I’ve improved. So enjoy!
